Description
Although first used as a wood preservative in Scandinavia, pine tar has a wide variety of uses today – from sealing ropes and rigging on ships, to retaining moisture in horse hooves, and providing a better grip on baseball bats. Pine tar has been a common ingredient in soap for hundreds of years and has long been used to soothe psoriasis and eczema, reduce itching of the scalp due to dandruff, ease inflammation, relieve itching associated with bug bites and poison ivy, and treat other skin irritations. The added goat milk adds a creaminess to this dark, pungent bar.
Each 2.25″ x 4″ x 1” bar is hand cut and trimmed and weighs approximately 5.5 oz. As this is a small batch soap, there may be variances from bar to bar and batch to batch.
To get the most out of your soap, please keep it in a draining soap dish between uses so it can dry out. We know you’re going to want it to last as long as possible!
